Another pretty good one. It’s hard going deep into the tank and then, after fifteen+ seconds of grinding, remembering to capture the screenshot.

This was a pretty decent, aggressive BW brokers deck. And I have some interesting options! Some context: I attacked with both Lackeys last turn and they didn’t block (rightfully sniffing out the combat trick). The race isn’t going great in my favor.

  • Drive out of town a blocker and swing
  • Attack holding up Metamorphosis
  • Hold for Ransom… something.

And which do I target with which? What’s the play?!

For reasons not clear to me in hindsight, I Ran out of Town the 1/2 to enable an attack. This is… a terrible play. I spent four mana to eke in 2 points of damage (they traded the 3/1). What I should have done was attack with mana up, perhaps save my 3/1 if they block that. If they take it (unlikely) I Ransom their 2/1 flier to hold the race steady. Magic is hard

  1. it is very hard. i have enjoyed playing at instant speed in this format and making blocking impossible. i also find myself saying, how can i engineer a two for one with my instant goodies.
