Well I did it. I attended a pre-release. I ate ramen before the pre-release. I went to a gaming store (all hail Mox) and went in person and everything was as delightful as could be. I opened packs. I day-drank. I met up with friends. I made new friends. Oh and most importantly: I opened bomb mythics in the same color

Let’s zoom in a little tighter on those mythics, shall we?

First, I love that the dragon appears to be wearing a sprig of cherry blossoms tucked into its horn. I also love that it’s a 5/5 for 5-mana that pays you out if your opponent ever comes up with an answer for it. But the equipment is what’s super bonkers. It can attack as a 3/1 menace or it can turn whatever dork you have laying around into 5/5? I mean, sure. Fortunately I went 3-0, so I didn’t have to do the sealed walk of shame. I ask for nothing more.
