Opened Embercleave, a legitimate bomb, only to not see… anything really. Some late playable green (Tuinvale Treefolk) sorta nudged me to that lane. Then got more green, only for green to evaporate again in pack 3. Turns out Big Kat upstream of me was mono-white, but also filching just enough green to make my life confusing. Well, it happens.

Deck

A very unusual RG deck, that has the potential Oven/Broom engine to go with some serious stalling (4x Curious Pair) and some high-end power and decent removal. A little awkward, but playable.

Results

I lost round 1 where the red splash of 5 mountains came to haunt me in a real big way. Definitely where I missed having an extra Rosethorn Acolyte or Golden egg the most. The other games I would control pretty easily and win either with Embercleave or clear the way for a big 5/5 fatty.
