Well I caught the not-COVID. Which is kind of funny, since I have to treat it as if it WAS the covidz. Nobody is excited to see someone at the grocery store sniffling and coughing. Maybe I should get that, “No seriously, I have antibodies” tattoo.

Fun draft! Definitely found white. As for what goes with white… well that’s a little more up in the air. RW gold cards in pack 3 felt bad, but no other real red to go with it. I think the two vampire payoffs are enough to justify gripping on to black, but it certainly never felt like a 8-lane paved highway of clarity.

Summary

The deck is a bit awkward. Good removal, but straddling lifegain (with the only payoff really the Scion of the Swarm) and a more traditional curve out. The “23rd” card question is whether or not I should run the Spare Supplies or an additional swamp.

Lost to a good UG kicker deck (not fast enough to pressure and not enough staying power to oomph through). Then beat a confused temur-ish landfall (?) deck. Though I did get got by the 3/3 flash flier an embarrassing number of times.
