Super messy draft with some rookie mistakes. I think Nicol Bolas and Parhelion II are not sufficiently bomb-worthy to have been warping my draft picks. I think I had a good plan and then passing Vraska muddied my lane. I should have stayed more in green.

• Round 1 vs. GW profilerate: My proliferate gets going first, recharging Vraska with the Pegasus. Round 2 I get stalled out, have to use Ob Nixilis on oppo’s threats, which reloads them nicely. Game 3 it turns out Nissa is really, really good and I overwhelm with alive lands and the threat of activation on my War Screecher.
• Round 2 vs GW proliferate: oppo mulls to 4 and concedes. Then keeps a hand, plays oddly and loses despite having two Grateful Apparitions out.
• Round 3 vs. Bant proliferate. I fall behind to an unchecked Grateful Apparition and then get ground out by Ashiok’s Skulker. Once again Ob Nixilis solves a problem but creates two more by reloading opponent.

Learnings

Nothing in particular. I think you want to use Ob Nixilis on your own creatures (maybe 1/1 Armies or other weenie tokens) to power through some draws. Definitely colossal over-performance overall.
