Honestly seemed really clear Orzhov. I think I was planning on more Afterlife becoming available and then it… didn’t? Bad luck? Whar my Imperious Oligarchs?!

• Round 1: Victory against Simic/Bant. I’m feel a little heavy on sacrifice payoffs and low on efficient afterlife creatures, but hey, that’s Limited sometimes.
• Round 2: Super grindy mirror. Drawing cards off the locket & Dead Revels gave me the gas to push through to the finals! Opponent did mull both games though, so don’t be too smug.
• Round 3: weird first round where all oppo played was plains and… forests? Huh. A bit befuddled I got to game 2. I draw a perfect curve-out dreamhand but I lose to… mass manipulation! That explains that (and what a bad draw). Epic battle as losing two permanents is just BACKBREAKING. Then a showdown in the third game where I juuuust eked it out when he stuck a High Alert.

Learnings

Whew! I think I got a little unlucky without getting the afterlife creatures when it felt like my lane was pretty open. I probably should have taken that Ill-Gotten Inheritance in P1p8 but I was prioritizing low drops. Fun deck to play though, a shocking amount of grind!
